About Us
Planning and Zoning in the City of Jerome is committed to smart, safe, and sustainable planning to ensure that Jerome remains an inviting place to raise a family and a profitable city to operate a business. In the past few years, new homes, new subdivisions, businesses, and parks and recreation facilities have been built within the city to add to the personality, diversity, and quality of life in Jerome.
The Planning and Zoning staff works jointly with the Planning and Zoning Commissioners to ensure that all residents have a voice in the direction of planning in Jerome in regards to the Comprehensive Plan, the Land Use Ordinance (Title 17 of JMC), the Building Code, and the Subdivision Code (Title 16).
